During the 2012-2013 season I was Head of Bodywork for UBRacing, the University of Birmingham's Formula Student team. I produced the design in the CAD software package Catia and, with my team, manufactured the bodywork in carbon fibre.
The completed bodywork (as shown above) was kindly painted by Aston Martin, who are one of the many sponsors of UBRacing. The shape of the body was optimised to get the highest number of sponsor logos on the car, and so the paintwork was also designed to highlight the curves of the car, while not interfering with the logos.
